How to Reach Ovalekar Butterfly Garden
The simplest and fastest way to reach Ovalekarwadi Butterfly Garden is via the bus route 65AC, which begins from Borivali Station and ends at Thane Station. Alight at the Ovalegaon bus stop, and the Butterfly Garden is 500 m away from the bus stop. For those travelling from the Western line, there’s a direct bus route from Borivali East to Ovale. Take the A700 from Borivali East to reach Ovale Gaon.
The garden is open only until the afternoon, and you will spend at least an hour or two surrounded by nature. It’s a garden, so wear clothing that covers your body. Also, wear some kind of headgear and good walking shoes, as you will be on your feet for at least a couple of hours.
