Manori Beach Travel Guide 2025

Manori is a popular tourist location in Mumbai and one of the most visited beaches in suburban Mumbai. How to reach Manori

Manori is 9+ KM from the Malad Station and not directly connected by road. You will need to travel to Marve Beach, take a jetty to Manori Gaon, and then take an auto to wherever you wish to go in Manori.  The BEST bus 272 goes directly to Manori beach.

The BEST Bus 271 goes towards Madh Jetty. Take the 272, because the 271 will drop you at the fork road that divides between Marve and Madh, and you will have to walk for at least five minutes to the actual Marve Jetty area.

Things to do in Manori

Once you get off the ferry, you will see several rickshaws that ply from the jetty area to the resorts. It’s rare, but you might see some horse-carts plying people from the Manori jetty to these resorts. Some buses ply from the jetty area to various resorts, and they have good frequency.

Manori is home to several restaurants and resorts, and you can spend a whole day in these resorts, which offer rooms at pretty economical prices. These resorts contain a swimming pool, and families and friends prefer spending the entire evening at these resorts.

How to Manori Tips

Stock up on all you want to eat and drink before you step into Manori. It doesn’t have many shops that cater for all requirements. You might get 10-rupee and 20-rupee snack packs, but that’s about it. But when it comes to special eatables, you’d need to get them even before Marve Beach, as the shopkeepers at Marve might charge a premium. There aren’t many bars or wine shops in Manori, so keep that in mind while planning your trip to Manori.

The jetty takes around 20 minutes to drop you to Manori, and the cost is under 50 rupees per person.

At the Manori jetty, you can board rickshaws and even horse carts. There are buses that ply from the Manori Jetty within Manori.
